I've promised my self that I will walk away
Yet the very next day I couldn't look away
From those glistening eyes and pretty smile
The way I can sense your mood within a mile
When I hear you talk about your wobbly past
The reason behind your fear and mistrust
How I wished it was me instead of that damsel
Heedless desires command my mind's principle
You let me taste a part of your abridged psyche
Despite the prolonged heart aching occurances
My huge fear is to leave like those movie cliché
Though the taste of your lips is addicting to me
This romantic chase has taught me valuable things in life
Love does not go the way you hope it should be
Every beginning is a start of an ending like a knife
stabbing through my core when we finally say goodbye
